Restorative Yoga

Parkside Room, Williams Mill

Instructor: Allison Monet

A restorative yoga sequence typically involves only five or six poses, supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest. Held for 5 minutes or more, restorative poses include light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends. Please go to the Glen Fitness Studio to pick up your bolster and mat before class starts.

This class focuses on flow, learning to move gracefully through the dynamic rhythms of life by learning the natural movement and properties of the world within and around us. Mindful movements and breathing techniques to support integration with the natural world and to help release tension and stress from the body, mind and spirit. Inviting yourself to grow stronger and more flexible with each breath.
